Who can take part?
Anyone who wants to join in is welcome to take part in our productions. You don't have to live within Hungerford as long as you can get to rehearsals and performances.
We have productions that cater for everyone aged 5 and
The Young Performers: ages 5-8
Children's Theatre: ages 8-13
Youth Theatre: ages 14-21
The Players: age 21+
The Town Show: ages 8 and above.
We also have lots of other opportunities within the company.
These include: costume making, joining the front of house team, set painting, set building, lighting design and operation, sound design and operation, fundraising, publicity, chaperoning the children, playing in the band, prop collecting and managing.

How can I take part?
To perform in a production simply sign up at the launch, read-through or audition. Audition materials (if necessary) are usually available at the launch or read-through.
Town Show auditions are in September for speaking and singing roles but there is no audition to join the chorus.
Young Performers/Children's Theatre/Players productions usually begin between the end of February and April.
Youth Theatre will have a production in the autumn.
Musicians interested in playing for the Town Show should contact our musical director: Jo Pollitt.
To be involved in other areas please make an enquiry and we will direct you to the relevant department.

What is the Town Show?
The Town Show is a musical production performed in February half-term. It includes The Children's Theatre, Youth Theatre and The Players working together (ages 8 and above).
When are Rehearsals?
Rehearsals are usually on Monday and Friday .
What costs are involved?
There is a membership fee of £30 per production which helps cover the cost of our rehearsal venues.
