Over the years our workshop has been invaluable to us. It has provided us with a space to store our props, costumes, lights and other equipment, both in the main space (pictured above) and in the containers that surround it. Our former patron, David Liddiard did us a great service in providing us with an area of his land for our workshop and we are very grateful for the years of use we got out of it.
However, the time has come when the land is being sold and we need to find a new location. Although a planning application has been submitted, a new location is yet to be confirmed.
An article was written about the situation and it can be found here. |
A team of theatre company members have been working every weekend for over a month to move everything off the site- set, props, lights, costumes, containers .... and even the building itself.
We are fortunate enough to have temporary storage in Hungerford Primay School's unused swimming pool and it is from here that the sets for our upcoming three productions have been built and painted. Due to these changes it has been more complicated than it usually is but the shows must go on!
